What we handle
This small lab processes 35mm and 120 rolls in color or monochrome. It suits anyone who wants reliable results without setting up chemistry at home, from someone sending in a first roll to a regular shooter with a few rolls from a trip. We can also make standard prints from your digital files.
Each roll is checked in, processed, and given a quick inspection. Color processing uses the standard C-41 method. If a roll is unusually old, badly marked, or has a damaged canister, we will contact you before proceeding rather than guess.
What comes back
The basic service includes development, a set of full-resolution JPEG files, and the physical negatives returned in a labeled paper envelope. Files arrive by email or on a USB drive you provide. You can request prints in 4 by 6 inches or 5 by 7 inches; tell us if you prefer a matte or glossy finish.
Files are usually ready within five business days, with prints taking another two days. We check focus and color before delivery, but we do not retouch dust or make detailed edits. If a frame is blank or badly damaged, it will still appear in the files as it came through… sometimes a roll has surprises.
Drop-off and timing
Bring rolls to the counter in their canisters or mail them in a padded envelope. Include your name, email address, and any print requests. If you are unsure what is on a roll, write
“I have no idea what is on this roll” — that is enough for us to choose the standard service. We will email when the files are ready and arrange pickup or return shipping. Please allow about a week from mailing to delivery.
Simple rates
For illustration, processing with digital files costs $12 per 35mm roll and $16 per 120 roll. Prints are 40 cents each at 4 by 6 inches and 75 cents at 5 by 7 inches. Return shipping is typically $5 nearby or $9 across the country. We confirm the total before starting, so a roll with extra print requests does not come as a surprise.
